Nearly 2wks work so far

A friend and misel' are building a cabin cum retreat for a reflexologist friend in Cescau just down the valley from me. Its 20metres sq and constructed with no mains electricity. Lots of woodwork thats been an absolute charm to do, leading me to think of the dream cabin/workshop project thats wanting to be done in our field.

seen from rear

we fitted the terrace around this tree

First we had to place concrete footings with stell post holders to sit the upright/king posts in, then the time consuming job of sawing and chisling all the joint work so that the whole thing ends up being like a 'kit', in that it can be easily take apart, just incase the mayor turns up and tells you that no planning permission has been submitted at his office!
